Excited!

There won't be any posts for a few days as I'm off to Munich. Gonna see the William Eggleston exhibition that was at the Whitney and is now at the Haus de Kunst. See you soon.

Yesterday was just like christmas here. My copy of 'William Eggleston: Democratic Camera Photographs and Video, 1958-2008' arrived after waiting 4 very long months.

It's the catalogue from the retrospective held at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York November 7, 2008-January 25, 2009 and what a book it is! If you want to be able to see a very good survey of him and his work it's a must buy book. It along with 'Lee Friedlander The Museum of Modern Art' should be the cornerstone of any decent photo book library.

William Eggleston

First seen on Mark Page's website and thought it was well worth seeing. I think anything that gives more insight is worth looking at and thinking about.
